Social Studies Native American Regions Lapbook Project

We began our lesson on the Native American Regions yesterday.  We discussed where each region is, how each region had its own tribes, cultures, religions, environment, houses, and food.  We set up our lapbooks with the title page, the fill in the blank page, and the map.

Today, we read about The Northwest Region.  We learned that they live in Plank Houses, the climate is mild, with heavy rainfall, and that they lived by the ocean.  We learned lots more, so ask your kiddo.  We used the website pebblegonext.com to also research information about this region.  Check out what we did yesterday and today in the pics below:
