Happy Birthday Colin!

Mystery Reader - Katie's Mom

Thanks to Katie's mom for coming to read to us yesterday, especially since she was still not feeling great!  We loved the book "Brief History of Everyday Objects" that you read to us first.  We loved hearing about how roller skates, kitty litter, and Monopoly came to be.  I think I am going to have to buy this book for our classroom library!  We also enjoyed the book "The Scrambled States of America."  That was a funny book with a great lesson!

Jump Rope for Heart

The goal for donations to The American Heart Association was $12,000, and we raised $14,900.  Our very own Caroline raised the most money, bringing in a total of $1,225.  The Concord gym will now be called the "Caroline D***" Gym!  How awesome!!!  The students enjoyed celebrating their hard work by jumping rope!

Caroline with Mrs. Siegfried and Mr. Loos!  Way to go, Caroline!

Breakout - Valentine's Day Dilemma

Mrs. Holtmann (5th Grade teacher) and I created a Digital Breakout for the students for Valentine's Day.  The students worked in groups to solve different puzzles to "unlock" the digital locks and help us get our party supplies out of the locked closet.
